I love you
says Nicola. This she said during another prompt of things to do/remember. Gathering her things, she stopped and turned around, and then, came the words. I looked up from helping another student, and I saw her attempt to say it again, but realizing I heard her, she stopped and beamed. “I said that. You heard me, teacher? Susan B. Anthony made history when she voted in the Presidential Election of 1872. For doing so, she was arrested, tried and fined $100 (that must be a large sum back then, but a cheap price to being person eh?!).

Even more awkward to find myself in the same terminal and route of my college life, with slight difference. I came and got the second spot to the waiting seats. Good life. Just when I thought I am good, when all the other...

Conversation over my pancakes…
Hiyasmin: Pancakes again, teacher? You always buy that.
Me: Pancakes are my favorite but I don’t always eat and buy them. A good friend knew I like it so I was given it as breakfast treat today.
Hiyasmin: Me, I eat that sometimes but we buy it from Jollibee.
Dash: You are rich?
Hiyasmin: (eyes so large in disbelief) No! I’m not rich. My family...
